Favourites of 2016 – Jon Modball Huracan
One of a few from the Modball Rally, Jon from Modball after disembarking from the ferry in Calais. Modball was a mad week, definitely one of the best weeks of my life, I’ll hopefully get a chance to do it again.

Back at the start of October ABF The Soldiers’ Charity held a Race The Runway event at RAF Leuchars and Tartan Tarmac were invited up to make a video and take some photos. This was one of my favourites from the day; the Porsche 918 Spyder ready to hit the runway.
Favourites of 2016 – Porsche 911R
Out on a run with Tartan Tarmac and one of the guys brought his one day old 911R. I was in Lee’s Maserati and we were sitting behind the 911R during the run across the Dukes Pass.
Favourites of 2016 – EmojiTR during Gumball 3000
On the 1st of May Gumball 3000 payed it’s second ever visit to Scotland and we chased it from the ferry up to Edinburgh in Tartan Tarmac’s ScoobyCam. Just outside Edinburgh we came across a small convoy of cars including the Car Throttle EmojiTR, I took this one whilst hanging out the window.

Next on the list is the McLaren 570S, back in April, Tartan Tarmac got the chance to take the 570S for a review so I took some photos of it at the Rest and Be Thankful. Find the review here.

I’ve decided to post my favourite photos I’ve taken this year in the run up to Christmas, so here is the first one; my favourite photo of the Astra, taken just after all my Modball Rally stickers were applied.
Modball Rally Europe 2016
Back in June I took part in the European Modball Rally in my Astra VXR with some friends, we drove from Glasgow to the start line in London, the journey continued to Paris, Lyon, Monaco, Barcelona and finally finishing 6 days later in Valencia. Here’s a few photos from it:

McLaren 675LT Spider
I stumbled across McLaren Automotive as they were having a photoshoot with one of the four pre production 675LT Spiders they brought to Scotland last month. The guys from McLaren were kind enough to let me take some photos of the car, I had this photo featured in the Scottish Daily Record’s Road Record, which can be found here; 675LT Spider in the Road Record
